Christine shares her Clo Bare Money Coach review — $600k net worth as a single mom

Clo Bare Money Coach Review: She Paid Off $44K in Debt, Hit a $584K Net Worth, and Is On Track for $3 Million — All as a Single Mom in Her 40s

If you’ve been searching for honest Clo Bare Money Coach reviews, this is Christine’s story.

When Christine joined the Clo Bare Money Coach Lazy Investor course in May 2024, she had one thought: I’m never going to be able to retire.

She was a single mom carrying around $80,000 in debt — credit cards, a car loan, a TSP loan. She’d already spent $2,000 on another financial course that left her more confused and more in debt than when she started. And she was watching her retirement accounts sit there, barely touched, while she threw every extra dollar at debt that never seemed to go down.

“I felt like there was no way out,” she told me. “I knew I wanted to retire early, but I thought I’d have to get a part-time job just to survive.”

She’d even called Schwab to ask about her accounts. She hung up feeling embarrassed. “I always felt intimidated. I didn’t know what I was talking about — I just knew my money was going down.”

What Actually Changed After Joining Clo Bare Money Coach

Christine enrolled in the Lazy Investor’s Course and our Lazy Money Master Bootcamp at the same time. She made a decision that I think was actually really smart: she focused on the debt piece first. Completely. She didn’t try to do everything at once.

She worked through the debt framework, built her system, and got momentum. Then in January 2025 — about eight months in — she went back to the investing module with fresh eyes.

That’s when everything clicked.

She rolled her IRA into a Roth IRA and started managing it herself. She learned she’d been paying unnecessary fees to have someone else handle accounts she could absolutely manage on her own. She stopped. She built out a “buckets” system so she always knew exactly where her money was going — no more reaching for a credit card when something unexpected came up.

“I love seeing the numbers go down,” she told me. “That visual — being able to see my debt, my investments, my whole financial picture in one place — that’s what made it real for me.”

Clo Bare Money Coach Results: Less Than Two Years Later

By April 2025 — just under a year into the Clo Bare Money Coach program — Christine had paid off $44,500 in debt while simultaneously investing $1,100/month in her TSP. Not sequentially. At the same time.

By January 2026, her numbers had kept moving:
• Net worth: $584,000
• Total invested: $462,000 (up from $265,000 when she started)
• Remaining debt: ~$40,000 — down from $80,000, and shrinking
• On track for a minimum of $3 million by retirement at 62

When we ran her retirement scenarios on our call, she told me she’d assumed maybe she could get to a million — and she’d probably need a part-time job even then. When the numbers came back at $3M minimum, she genuinely didn’t believe it.

“I didn’t think it would be this easy, honestly. It takes discipline — and a lot of mindset work. But I didn’t think it was possible for me.”

The Stuff That Doesn't Show Up in a Net Worth Number

The summer before we recorded her testimonial, Christine took her kids on a trip to Kentucky. She told them: next year, vacation doesn’t go on a credit card. We’re paying cash.

She meant it. She surprised her daughter with a trip to Disney World — fully paid in cash. She has a Florida spring break trip coming up. A half sleeve tattoo she’s been wanting.

All cash. All planned for. None of it stressful.

“I made a commitment at the beginning of this year — no more credit cards. Because I like this feeling better. Knowing I have the money. Knowing I earned it. Going on vacation completely guilt-free.”

And then there’s her son. He’s 20 now. Christine walked him through his 401K, helped him roll it into a Roth IRA, showed him how to pick funds — and now he’s investing at 20.

“I was able to teach my son how to invest and set up his own accounts. I relate to money now — I don’t fear it. And I know my kids don’t have to worry about me. Mama’s got it.”

She even renamed her budget. It’s now called The Abundant Book of 2026.

Christine's Honest Review of the Clo Bare Money Coach Program

“The lessons are so easy to understand. It’s plain English where I can understand it. Before, I always felt intimidated — I’d call Schwab and just feel like I didn’t belong there. Now I called and told them exactly what I wanted to do. And when they pushed back, I held my ground. Because I knew I was right. That’s what empowerment feels like.”

“You were that glimmer of hope I was looking for. I’d already spent $2,000 on a course that put me further in debt and made me feel like I’d never figure this out. The spreadsheets were confusing. I felt worse after. And then I found you — and it actually worked.”

At the end of the day, Christine did this. The Clo Bare Money Coach program gave her the framework. She did the work, made the hard calls, built the plan, and stuck to it for two years. That’s what $584K and a path to $3 million looks like. It looks like a single mom in her 40s who decided she was done feeling like money was someone else’s thing.

Christine is a student of the Clo Bare Money Coach Lazy Investor course and Lazy Money Master Boot Camp. Her results are based on her self-reported survey responses and an April 2025 interview. Individual results vary.
